ACADEMIC INFORMATION
Uru Secondary School follows the Ministry of Education curriculum, which prepares the students to sit for the Form Four National Examination. This enables, the form four levers to be able to join any other high schools and Institutions for further studies.
Currently the school teaches the core curriculum subjects which are: –
Civics, English, Kiswahili, History, Geography, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English Literature, ICT, Commerce, Book keeping.
The school has academic facilities such as Computer lab, laboratories for chemistry, Physics and Biology. These facilities have been kept in such away, that they provide a conducive environment for students to achieve best results in their examinations.

OPERATIONAL AREA COVERAGE
The school works in operation with diocesan education directives and governance in the national educational policy.
The school internal operation is executed by headmaster and his subordinates in collaboration with all staff and students.
SCHOOL ACTIVITIES
The school performs several activities including educational curriculum implementation and extra-curricular activities like initiation and management of various projects (dairy, piggery maize and banana farms, vegetable garden, milling, bakery and shop) and sports and games.
